Who We Serve
Housing Solutions for Adults From All Walks of Life
C&J Family Living provides housing for adults from a variety of backgrounds and life situations. Admission is based on availability and whether the individual is appropriate for an independent or shared living environment.
Our Residents
A Safe and Stable Home for Those Who Need It Most
Our residents are adults who are capable of managing their own daily lives and are ready to live independently. They may come from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances — what they share is a need for safe, stable, and affordable housing.
Many of our residents utilize outside third-party support services — such as case management, counseling, or community programs — and are welcome to continue doing so while living at C&J Family Living. We support their independence without providing direct care.

Who Thrives at C&J Family Living
Veterans
We proudly welcome veterans who are transitioning into permanent housing, experiencing housing instability, or rebuilding independence. We welcome referrals from veteran organizations, case managers, and outreach programs.
Reentry & Justice-Involved Individuals
We provide housing for individuals returning to the community after incarceration, including those working with probation or parole officers and referred by reentry programs.
Seniors
We may provide housing for seniors who are able to live independently and are looking for an affordable shared or private living arrangement. We do not provide nursing or assisted-living services.
Adults Experiencing Homelessness
We may provide an affordable housing solution for adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability who are ready to move into a structured living environment.
Individuals in Recovery
We may provide housing for adults in recovery who are able to live independently and follow the expectations of a drug-free living environment. We do not provide detox, treatment, or clinical services.
Adults with Disabilities
We welcome housing inquiries for adults with physical or developmental disabilities who are appropriate for an independent or shared living environment. Personal-care services must be arranged through qualified outside providers.
Adults with Mental Health Conditions
Adults with mental health conditions may be considered for housing when they are appropriate for an independent or shared living environment. We provide housing, not mental-health treatment.
Low-Income & Fixed-Income Adults
We serve low-income adults, adults receiving Social Security benefits, disability income, or other fixed income who need an affordable and stable housing option.
