C&J Family Living provides affordable, structured independent shared housing for adults who need a safe and stable place to call home. We serve veterans, seniors, individuals reentering the community from prison, adults experiencing homelessness, individuals in recovery, adults with disabilities, and others who can live independently and benefit from structure, accountability, community, and access to outside resources. All admissions are subject to approval and availability.

C&J Family Living was created to provide a safe, stable, and welcoming place where adults can feel respected, encouraged, and connected while working toward a better future. What We Offer
Everything Included for Peace of Mind
Shared & Private Rooms
We welcome residents with income from employment, Social Security, SSI, SSDI, VA benefits, retirement or pension income, disability income, family support, approved assistance programs, or qualified third-party payers. Proof of income or ability to pay may be required. Our goal is to make the process simple and transparent, with all rates clearly discussed before move-in.
Utilities & Essentials Included
Our homes include electricity, water, internet, toiletries, personal hygiene items, personal care items, cleaning products, household essentials, shared common areas, smoke detectors, and security surveillance in common areas. We strive to provide a safe, drug-free, comfortable, and welcoming place where residents can feel at home while building stability, independence, accountability, and meaningful community connections.
Structured Living Environment
At C&J Family Living, residents enjoy the freedom to live independently while having the structure of a safe, stable, and respectful home environment. We encourage personal responsibility, accountability, and independence while providing clear house expectations and a comfortable place to focus on the next chapter of life.
Flexible Payment Options
Payment options may include private pay, employment income, Social Security, SSI, SSDI, VA benefits, pension or retirement income, and approved third-party assistance. From the first call through move-in and beyond, C&J Family Living helps residents connect with community resources, benefits, re-entry services, employment support, identification assistance, and other available resources.
Community Resources & Outside Support
C&J Family Living provides guidance, encouragement, structure, and connections to outside resources and qualified community agencies. We can help residents find resources for benefits, re-entry services for prisoners, employment support, identification documents, disability services, transportation assistance, and other community programs that may support greater stability and independence.
Please note: C&J Family Living is a non-medical housing provider. We do not provide medical care, nursing care, therapy, mental-health treatment, substance-use treatment, or personal-care services.
Who We Serve
Housing Solutions for Adults From All Walks of Life
C&J Family Living provides safe, affordable, and structured shared housing for adults who are able to live independently. We serve veterans, seniors, individuals returning to the community after incarceration, adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability, individuals in recovery, adults with disabilities, low-income adults, individuals transitioning from shelters or temporary housing, and others who need a stable and welcoming place to call home. We also welcome referrals from case managers, social workers, reentry programs, veteran organizations, hospitals, rehabilitation programs, community agencies, nonprofits, churches, and other organizations assisting adults with housing needs. Admission is based on room availability, the individual’s ability to live independently, and whether C&J Family Living is an appropriate fit for the person’s housing needs and shared-living environment. C&J Family Living does not provide medical or nursing services. Any outside services needed by a resident must be arranged through qualified third-party providers.
